Small reception area which leads through to a good size bar and lounge area which has dance floor and stage for entertainment (which is held regularly during high season). Bedrooms size can vary as older building but all bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. They are decorated in a traditional, old fashioned style but offer comfort and value for money. General our opinion: Recently refurbished, the hotel which is located on the Queen's Promenade offers an excellent standard of accommodation and great views of the Irish sea. Bedrooms are bright, modern and very clean. The light wood furniture goes well with the cream and red décor. The public areas are equally inviting with a warm and cosy bar area, with plenty of seating as well as the sun lounge where you can relax with a drink. A great hotel just 15 minutes walk from the town centre. For the less energetic cross the road and hop on one of the many trams which will take you to all the attractions. As an added benefit, hotel guests have complimentary access to the leisure facilities at the nearby Hilton hotel. within 20 minutes walk: Blackpool town centre, Winter Gardens, trams, beach and promenade. It is an ideal family hotel due to the entertainment and leisure facilities offered, which include a small hotel cinema, indoor heated pool, gym and beauty treatment rooms. There is nightly entertainment in the hotel lounge bar area (this does vary and can be seasonal). The bedrooms which come in different shapes and sizes are clean and functional and decorated in a traditional style, this can make them appear slightly dated.
